Privacy Policy: Simple Breathing
Last updated: April 15, 2026
The Simple Breathing mobile application is developed and owned by Loop Europe Ltd and marketed under our software development brand L.E.Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the app.
For questions about this policy, use the contact details found within this document.
1. Who we are
Loop Europe Ltd is the data controller for personal data we process when you use Binaural Beats Studio and when you contact us directly.
Privacy contact: support@simplebreathing.app
2. Our approach: minimal data
We design the app to collect and process as little information as possible. We do not operate user accounts inside the app, we do not sell personal data, and we do not integrate third-party analytics or behavioural-tracking SDKs for marketing purposes.
Some information is still processed on your device, by Google when you use Google Play Billing, or by us only if you email us. We describe each case below.
3. Information the app processes
3.1 Data stored only on your device
The app stores content and settings locally on your device, for example:
- Custom presets you create
- App settings and preferences (including language and playback-related options)
- Timer and similar in-app preferences
This on-device data is used only to run the app. We do not receive this data on our own servers in the ordinary operation of the app.
Depending on your device and system settings, Android backup or device transfer features may copy some app data to your Google account or another backup destination. That processing is governed by your device settings and Google’s (or your device manufacturer’s) policies, not by servers we operate.
3.2 Purchases (Google Play Billing)
When you buy optional items (for example premium features or donations), Google Play processes the transaction. We do not receive your full payment card details. We may receive limited purchase-related signals through Google’s billing APIs (for example, whether a purchase is active) so we can unlock features in the app.
Google’s handling of data related to payments and your Google account is described in Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
3.3 Support and legal requests
If you contact us by email, we process the information you send (for example your email address and the content of your message) only to respond to you and to meet our legal obligations where applicable.
We do not use support correspondence for advertising or resale.
4. What we do not do
We do not:
- Require registration or an in-app account
- Use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs as part of the app
- Build advertising profiles about you from app usage
- Sell personal or sensitive user data
5. How we use information
We use information only to:
- Provide and maintain app functionality (including on-device storage of your presets and settings)
- Validate and deliver in-app purchases through Google Play
- Reply to your support or privacy inquiries
- Comply with applicable law and protect our legitimate interests (for example security and fraud prevention), where permitted
6. Sharing of information
We do not share personal data with data brokers. We share information only as needed with:
- Google (and its affiliates as applicable), when you use Google Play and related services, subject to Google’s policies
- Professional advisers or authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety
7. Security
We protect information under our control with appropriate technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the processing. Purchase-related communication with Google uses industry-standard secure connections where applicable.
Information you keep in the app remains under your control on the device. You should protect device access (screen lock, etc.) to reduce risk if your device is lost or shared.
8. Retention and deletion
- On-device data: Remains until you remove it by clearing the app’s storage, uninstalling the app, or using in-app controls if we provide them for specific data. We do not need to “delete” this data from our servers because we do not routinely host it.
- Emails to support: Kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for legitimate business or legal retention (for example short-term records of abuse or billing disputes, where relevant), then deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
- Google / Play: Retention of purchase and account records is governed by Google; see Google’s help and privacy materials.
Because the app does not offer an in-app user account on our systems, there is no separate “delete my account” flow for an app-specific account. Deletion of on-device data is managed as above.
9. Permissions and system access
Android may ask for permissions so the app can work reliably and safely - for example audio playback, background playback where the OS requires it, notifications you choose to enable, or scheduling that the OS needs to restore after a reboot. The exact permissions may change over time as the app or Android requirements evolve.
We use permissions only to deliver the related functionality and not to sell data or run cross-app tracking for advertising. If the system shows a permission prompt, it is for the purpose described in that prompt and our in-app context.
10. Health and medical disclaimer
Simple Breathing is provided for entertainment and general wellness purposes only. The app is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Individual experiences may vary.
Breathing routines generated or played in the app - including preset created by individual users - and the related content is offered for relaxation, focus, meditation, or similar personal use. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use this app as a substitute for professional medical care. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication, consult your healthcare provider before use.
11. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children in the sense of collecting contact or profile information from them. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. International users
If you use the app from outside the country where Loop Europe Ltd is established, your information may be processed in accordance with this policy and applicable law, including when you use Google services that may process data in multiple regions.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the Last updated date. If changes are material, we will use reasonable means to bring them to your attention where appropriate (for example an in-app notice or store listing update).
